The Petrifying Caves of Savonnières-Villandry

Enter the petrifying caves of Savonnières-Villandry, former freestone quarries where nature has come back into its own over the centuries, and you will discover a fascinating universe of underground lakes and limestone concretions.

A world where nature is the investigator of an unusual craft: Petrification.
